The Connecticut Breast Cancer Coalition/Foundation is the only statewide all-volunteer, grassroots advocacy group working to stem the breast cancer epidemic.

We are working to focus attention on breast cancer through advocacy, education and services to the women of Connecticut. We sponsor seminars on clinical trials and other educational events. We host a Hartford Lobby Day and are developing a clinical trial information network. On our web site, we are creating an on-line community for the women of Connecticut to share their stories and their resources.

We are also leading a “License Plate Drive” to raise money for research and an emergency fund for the women of Connecticut who have breast cancer.

CBBC/F is dedicated to equal access to quality health care for all people in Connecticut. Founded on November 4, 1994, by 16 survivors and their friends, CBCC/F is part of a momentous grassroots movement. We are working to eradicate breast cancer through education, advocacy and action.

The Connecticut Breast Cancer Coalition (CBCC), incorporated as a 501(c)3, is the advocacy and legislative component. The Connecticut Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF), incorporated as a 501(c)4, develops and promotes educational programs, events and forums, and is establishing an emergency fund to help women who are in treatment. Stop Breast Cancer: It's In Our Power! Both organizations work together to accomplish our mission to eradicate breast cancer.

Your membership dues in CBCC/F will support our efforts. Your tax-deductible contributions to CBCC/F support educational, advocacy, research and outreach activities.
